12 weeks, two students and 24 pages to write, that was the task set before us in Print features today. So when me and Nicola Howe were strangely the only two people out of 40-odd not to have a group we thought there was only one thing for it.

One Christian Journalist and One music Journalist who is a Christian meant that we had to go for the obvious answer, break all the rules a five man team and do a Christian magazine.

Christian Magazines seem to be popular in the US with publications like ‘Worship leader’ and ‘CCM’and ‘20 the Countdown magazine’ etc but they’ve never really captured that market here in the UK. It was tried once, a few years ago by Tony Cummings at Cross Rhythms who is an amazingly talented music Journalist, but after many years that ceased because it never made a profit.

Well people, we’re going to try again. Perhaps the pressure won’t be as bad for us because we’ve got a deadline of three months, no costs to cover and targets to meet, but with such a niche why can’t we hope to pitch to perspective publishers at the end of it all. So follow our progress on Pioneer Blogs and you never know you could be part of something big!
